This was the very reason for the team of ck-modelcars, putting their heads together and start filming a special project.
The connection to motorsport, which makes up a large part of the ck range, is not neglected here. Interesting interlocutors from the scene provide insights and talk, among other things, about what makes racing vehicles so fascinating. Because it is not uncommon for every modelcar to contain all sorts of details and drama that nobody has known before.
Once again, ck-modelcars is delighted to have won numerous awards in the “Model Car of the Year” competition. The model of the RWB wide-body Porsche from the tuning great from Dortmund took first place in the “Category K / Current 1:18” as well as three second places.
Sidney Hoffmann and Christoph Krombach report on current and future projects.
In episode two of the second season of CK TV, we take the fans of ck-modelcars to the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. This is where the DTM started its 40th season. With thrilling racing action and exciting fuel discussions, the focus was of course always on the replicas of the original GT3 cars.
To kick off the second season of CK TV, we once again invite you to the National Automobile Museum. This time, we explored the new Ferrari special exhibition. Not only did we admire legendary cars like the Ferrari F40 and Michael Schumacher's F2004, but we also brought together the matching modelcars with their real-life counterparts.
Thanks to Sidney Hoffmann, we present you with a spectacular season finale of CK TV! The tuning star tells the story of how he brought the first RWB Porsche to Germany. But he not only brings an exciting story but also the matching scale model in 1:18!
The collectors have voted: The most popular models once again come from ck-modelcars.
Watch the video to find out more about the exciting details of the winning models!
A visit to a museum can be dull and boring, that may be. But not when it's the National Automobile Museum and the ck-modelcars team arrives with its camera crew. In the top-class collection, we went in search of exclusive motor sports unicums on a scale of 1:1. Of course, the comparison with the model vehicles must not be neglected.
Numerous positive feedbacks after the first episode have strengthened us above all in one thing: CK TV arrives! With episode 2, we pick up where we left off and take you with us - to Adenau, among other places. You'll learn first-hand what motivated us to open a store directly at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. But the world's most famous racetrack plays another role in the latest video: We went to the 24-hour race with our team and gave the drivers of the BMW M4 GT3 their model car. The guys had a lot to tell - just like the makers behind the Minichamps brand.
A historical video for CK Modelcars. We present our new series "CK TV"! In the first episode our owner Christoph Krombach takes us to our headquarters in Asslar. He tells us about the history of the company up to today and especially about his passion: model cars.
Besides the presentation we also visited Timo Bernhard, Le-Mans winner, Porsche brand ambassador and owner of Team75 Motorsport in Landstuhl. We talked to him and Jean-Francois Peres, owner of IXO, about the historic DTM winning car Porsche 911 GT3 R. The first episode concludes with a visit to the Porsche Museum Stuttgart.
20 years ago, Christoph Krombach laid the foundation for ck-modelcars. Since then, the company has developed into one of the first points of contact for modelcar enthusiasts. Last but not least, the success is due to the companions who are also involved in the filming. Among others, Timo Bernhard, winner of the 24-hour race in Le Mans, has his say.
But not only racing legends have something to tell, but also real doers: Jean-Francois Peres, for example. As the owner of the brand Ixo, he produces modelcars for the whole world. The close connection and long-standing friendship with him made it possible to win him over as an interview partner for the new format.
