Yeah, all right, of course, we know that the German saying goes “Alles neu macht der Mai" (May makes everything new), but we have drastically changed the month to our preference and properly refreshed our shop in Berlin. This in the course of our inventory; which gave us a great opportunity not only to count the goods, but also to supplement it with new model cars. For example, the Porsche 935/78 on a large scale 1:12 by CMR celebrated its premiere in the shop in the Classic Remise. But it is not alone, because also the Porsche 934, the Porsche 911 930 turbo 1977 and various BMW M1 from the Procar Series in the same, really impressive, size from the house of Minichamps are now displayed on the Wiebestraße 36-37. Our shop in the Classic Remise is therefore the ideal place to experience the trendy model cars in 1:12 live!
Not every collector knows these true giants, who shine not only in size, but also in the details. With a total length of up to 46 centimeters, of course, the manufacturers have much more scope to put the finer details in the interior and in the replicas of brakes, grilles and wheels in scene. Therefore, a 1:12 scale model is something very special. Like the aforementioned Porsche 935/78 "Moby Dick": The race car used by the drivers Manfred Schurti and Rolf Stommelen at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1978 has its nickname from its uplifting dimensions. CMR has delivered a fantastic miniature, which can now be seen in the shop in the Classic Remise, as well as the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
Further highlights in our Berlin shop
But not only the new giants can be seen in Berlin. Also lovers of the scale 1:43 and 1:18 get their money's worth. New is, for example, the large display with the miniatures from the Maxichamps series which, as readers of our blog know, come from the factory of Minichamps. Fans of Sebastian Vettel and the Scuderia Ferrari will be pleased with many model cars from Bburago of the Reds. But also the fans of the great times of Ferrari 512S, 250 GT Drogo, 275 GTB and Dino will find a treasure chest in the shop in the capital with the high-quality miniatures from CMR in 1:18. Welly model cars of the Porsche 911 are something for the very young collectors and accordingly cheap; but cheap are also the Porsche 956 and 917, to which Norev has supplied us many diecast models.
Our conclusion therefore: A visit to the CK-Shop Berlin is always worth a visit. Not only in March. And not only in May, but with the offers at the 31st classic car days Berlin-Brandenburg on the weekend of 05 and 06 May, it’s a very attractive opportunity to stop by our shop.
