1961 presented the French carmaker Citroën the Cabriolet version from the, since 1955 on the market, DS 19. Even with the appearance of the so-called 1st series - noticable externally through the exposed headlights - the convertibles were produced from the coachbuilder Henri Chapron. Until 1971, the operation yielded 1,219 vehicles Citroën, which also received the facelift of sedans. The prototype for the model car with the item number 181564 is the origin-Cabriolet. Norev has as usual spared no expenses, even in giving this model the charm of the past on the way to the collector, but it nevertheless replicate through out detailed as the fans are familiar from current models of Vaulx-en-Vaulin. They could be proud of the interiour of the thumbnail-

First, the most obvious detail: the folding top forms Norev according to the form enclosed with the model a soft top in the form of a plastic part. The collector can thus park open and closed in the showcase model. Of course, the interior is protected by the plastic part from dust. The miniature of the DS 19 is made of die-cast, so die-cast zinc, offering to open doors and hoods.
