In 1984 Stefan signs his first Formula 1 contract in traditions team from Ken Tyrrell.  Tyrrell's Team managed to win in 1971 the Constructors Championship as well as in 1971 and 1973 two Formula 1 drivers world championships.
In the 1984 Season Stefan had numerous successes with the less powerful vacuum motor as well as a podium position at the Grand Prix from Monaco 1984.
