Model features:
The 1.1-liter Sascha-ADS-R was partly based on the prototype for a production car, but it is a thoroughbred racing model with which Ferdinad Porsche set new standards. Compared to other small racing engines of the early 1920s, the ADS-R with its larger bore and shorter stroke is an advanced concept. Among the 1.1-liter racing cars, the Salmson from France had dimensions of 62.2 x 90 mm and the Newton-Ceirano to 60.4 x 95.7 mm. At 68 mm, the cylinder bore of the ADS-R was even larger than that of the leading 1.5-liter racers of its time. Talbot, Fiat and Mercedes all had 65mm.
