Model features:
As the superior winner of the Prinz Heinrich-Fahrt 1910, this fabulous automobile is considered to be one of the first real sports cars in the world.
Ferdinand Porsche not only designed this Austro Daimler, which was clearly designed for racing, but also led the works team himself, which took the first three places in the demanding Prinz Heinrich drive in Germany over 1944 kilometers and won half of the 16 special prizes. With double ignition for reasons of reliability, the engine was able to compete with the best of its time in terms of liter output. This is one of ten factory cars built; it was later fitted with a cardan shaft instead of a chain drive.
In this and his other projects at Austro Daimler, Ferdinand Porsche had the full support of General Director Eduard Fischer, who also took part in races himself.
