03.06.2015GT Spirit brings the Mercedes Benz G 63 AMG

If in a post like this you hear of  leather, chrome and luxury combined with many horsepower, you probably think of a luxury sedan or a sports car, right? The team of Mercedes-Benz and its subsidiary AMG interpret these "ingredients"also in relation to a car that has been known to be a purebred workhorse in 1979:  the car that was  produced until 1990 as W 460 became W 461  with all-wheel drive for work assignments in municipal tasks and the W463   with constant 4 wheel drive for the customers in need . Thats exactly what the G 63 AMG  is based on-almost the top of the series.
The French model AutoLabel GT Spirit has adopted the G 63 AMG  in its current version and brings the high class model in a scale of 1:18, painted in grey. Made from resin-plastic doors and hoods remain  closed on the limited edition of 2000 copies. But still there are  precisely crafted details to admire. Those details justify the price of 99.95 euros. The model is available under item no GT035  . Let's take a closer look at the collectible: The body meets  terms of proportions and lines perfectly,  edges and curves have also been  implemented with perfection.

High attention to detail in the exterior decoration of the G 63 AMG 1:18

We especially  like the design of the engravings around the roof and glazing; also the encircling rub strip is one of the crowning achievements , especially as it has been also implemented in two colors. The chrome it is also found around the main grill with middle set, Mercedes star and the bumper horns, the rocker and the exhaust tailpipe trims. The housing for the spare wheel is also completely chromed. The LED daytime running lights strips have also been reproduced correctly by the engineers of GT-Spirits ; the taillights are colored transparent  red and also prototypically just like  the delicate hint of the defogger in the tinted rearwindow.
2 colors in the interior; the inner tracks of the seats are held in contrasted red that imitates the quilted leather. This can also be found on the interior door panels. Amazing how all operating elements appear as if they were  just shrunken originals instead of miniatures in 1:18  No reason for criticism concerning dimensional accuracy or appearance of the constituents of the interior in tis model. The only drawback: The hood remains closed, so that the collector doesn't get to see anything of the great 400 kW / 544 hp V8. The model accelerates in 5.4 seconds from 0 to 100

The model rolls on smaller rims,The AMG 5-twin-spoke design, measuring 16 inches, painted in titanium gray and wearing tires in size 265/70 R 16. 4 tires only incidentally, because in the last few weeks there was talk about the  six-wheeled offshoot of the G 63 AMG starring in "Jurassic world" . Top model of the series is still the G 65 AMG, which comes with 6.0 out of 12 cylinders instead of with 5.5 liters  from the V8 and makes 450 kW / 612 hp . From the looks G63 AMG and G 65 AMG are very similar. Given these facts   the model  rather drifts towards sports cars; If you want a copy  of it, you should hurry: the 2,000 copies are already going to run out.
