09.01.2024Colourful into the new year: Minichamps presents further 1:43 models of the Porsche 911 (992) GT3 RS

We are talking about the Porsche 911 GT3 RS from the 992 series. When it comes to technology and principles, the high-performance sports car uses Porsche's motorsport department. From the “Faszination Sportwagen” collection series, the modelcar manufacturer Minichamps is offering the Zuffenhausen super sports car in scale 1:43 in a wide range of colors exclusively for ck-modelcars. Limited to 300 pieces, the copies are available in yellow, blue, red and silver. The rim color varies between gold or black rims.

Porsche GT3 RS – that always means that a high-speed naturally aspirated engine does its job in the rear of the Porsche. In the case of the 992, this is the well-known four-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with an output of 525 hp. The active aerodynamic components such as the continuously adjustable wing elements cannot be overlooked. Another sign of racing is the fact that the 911 (992) GT3 RS no longer has a trunk. Unfortunately, there is no longer any space for this, as the cooling concept does not rely on three radiators as before, but rather on a large radiator in the middle like the Porsche 911 RSR and 911 GT3 R.

If you remove the license plates and integrate the 992 into the starting grid of a 24-hour race, it will hardly be noticeable with its rear wing, which protrudes over the roof for the first time on an RS model. He has definitely already proven that he can drive a fast lap on the Nordschleife. With Porsche brand ambassador Jörg Bergmeister at the wheel, “the new one” missed the fastest lap for road-legal vehicles by just 1.5 seconds.
