In the latest episode of CK TV we take the fans of ck-modelcars to Dietzhölztal in Hesse. In the summer of 2023, one of the most extraordinary automobile exhibitions in the world opened its doors there. The special thing about this: numerous racing vehicles from motorsport are also part of the collection.

The selection ranges from Formula 1-vehicles to GT-cars and so-called Class 1-cars, which were used in the DTM until a few years ago. During our visit we were particularly impressed by the special exhibition marking the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. 100 years of long-distance history are shown here with exclusive exhibits from all eras. As die-hard racing fans, it is important to us to introduce these gems - especially to those for whom the museum in the Westerwald is not just around the corner.

Two highlights of the Le Mans exhibition are David Piper's Porsche 917 from 1970 and the Porsche 956 in the iconic Rothmans design. In the new episode of CK TV, the history of the cars and the refinements are looked at in more detail. At the same time, it was a great opportunity to present the appropriate model vehicles. When a modelcar meets its original, our hearts soar. Also this time.
