The model makers from Ixo, located in the Chinese Macau, are at home in many areas: Be it in the area of model from passenger cars, sports cars, oldtimers, from buses and trucks to rally cars of the very recent origin. The high class quality modelcars inspire many fans around the world. Therefore, Ixo should know how to convince with the newest miniatures of the Porsche 911 RSR and reach many friends of the brand Porsche with it: The Porsche 911 RSR GTE Pro of the Porsche GT team, the class winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the category LMGTE with starting number 92, driven by Michael Christensen, Kevin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor. They finished the race in Porsche's anniversary year - the Stuttgart-based company celebrated the 70th anniversary of the company's foundation in 2018 with the hashtag 70JahrePorsche - with the 106th class victory.

That the cars from Stuttgart would win in Le Mans 2018 was likely, but not certain. Because at the 24 Hours at the Sarthe no one can be sure to come through the rounds safely. But Porsche wrote history in Le Mans again and won both GTE-classes at the toughest endurance race of the world. In the Pro-category, in which six manufacturers compete against each other, the Porsche 911 RSR with the starting number 92, the prototype of this model, was the first to finish the 86th edition of the 24 Hours after 344 laps. The driver trio was in the lead for almost the entire race and controlled the action on the traditional 13,626-kilometer circuit. They were racing in the pink half-pork 911, which was based on the design of the Porsche 917/20 by Willi Kauhsen and Reinhold Joest from Le Mans in 1971.

Ixo brings the new models to teh 2018 edition under item number LEGT18003 and transfers the line management and appearance of the role model exactly to the scale 1:18. The miniatures built from diecast are supplemented by plastic parts, antennas and perfectly fitting inserts for glazing, taillights and headlights. It all goes very well with the pink pig paintwork, which Ixo carries out flawlessly. What is convincing about these modelcars, in addition to the quality, is the price, which at less than 70.00 euros is well below that of comparable products from other manufacturers. Incidentally, this also applies to the other 911 RSR 2018 from Ixo, which we will talk about later.
