Fans of modelcars and their role models of the Nissan Skyline from the model series R34 should be known from the fourth part of "Fast & Furious", which was presented by Solido in scale 1:18. The miniatures from diecast have the item numbers S1804301 and are delivered in bayside blue. At the role models it is about the tenth generation of the popular sports car from Japan, which was to see in "Fast & Furious 4" in 2009 as GT-T with Nismo-Bodykit and GTR-engine. Solido has perfectly met the line management and the appearance of the role model from 1999 and equipped the models with a true to detail interior as well as two openable doors. The front wheels of the right-steering miniature can be turned. We take a closer look at the Nissan, look at the data of the role model and in the end a special version.
These modelcars of the Nissan Skyline GT-R are based on the tenth generation of the middle-class car as mentioned above, of which the original version was built since 1957 as limousine and coupe; up from 1978 still as coupe, from 1998 as four-door vehicle again. The GT-R as top version developes from its six-cylinder with about 2.6 liter displacement 206 kW / 280 hp at a maximum torque of 392 Newton meters (Nm); electronic injection, two turbo chargers as well as intercooler and a six-speed transmission to the all-wheel-drive included. For comparison: the base version GT has 114 kW / 155hp from 2.0 liter. The driver of a GT-R was able to read the torque distribution between the front and rear axles as well as oil pressure and other information from the new monitor in the center console; a detail that Solido does not neglect either.
The diamond pattern on the seats as well as the interior door panels are also perfectly replicated by the French from Josselin. Otherwise, the blue modelcars have a black interior that reflects the zeitgeist of the time. The version with item number S1804302 offers a little more variety: the identical R 34 in the Advan Drift paint scheme advertises a tire brand from Yokohama and stands out clearly from the comparatively brave version with its two red and black design; good to see in the video embedded above. There are two models that should appeal to fans of the feature film as well as the joy of highly motorized coupes from Japan; in addition, built with solid craftsmanship: so typical Solido; the modelcar specialist founded by Ferdinand de Vazeilles around 90 years ago.
