19.10.2020The Singer-Concept: Two modelcars by KK-Scale

Gulf blue and dark grey - that are the real matching paintings, in which KK-Scale presents two modelcars that are produced from the high quality diecast after the role model of the Singer coupe modification Porsche 911. The miniatures appear in format 1:18 and are available under the item numbers KKDC180441 and KKDC180442. KK-Scale limited the models to 1,000 units each. It is always worth and in all areas of life to consider the backrounds, but here it is particularly worthwhile here: Singer Vehicle Design, that is actually the company of the rockstar Rob Dickinson from Los Angeles. The Briton, once front man of the band Catherine Wheel, moved to the USA in 2003 and founded his company in 2009, which is specialized on rebuilds of old Porsche 964. The final product looks like a tuned original-nine-eleven, but however, everything is different. 

Like if Dickinson was on stage, he really let it go: A newly designed body made from carbon fiber is fitted to the chassis of a used Porsche 964, which in the end can not only show ABS, but also LED's and Xenon headlights. Equipped with an modified engine of between 220 kW / 300 hp and 294 kW / 400 hp from racing engine builder Ed Pink Racing Engines based on the neighboring property in North Hollywood. A new building suitable for everyday use, not a retro car, and prepared by KK-Scale for the collector's showcases in a way that is surely unsurpassable in quality and finish. The lines of the miniatures correspond exactly to around 500,000 euros plus the purchase price for an expensive 964 model. Doors and hoods remain closed, but these tireless 911 are still fun.
