Cheap Le Mans-Heroes in scale 1:43 by Spark

Cheap Le Mans-Heroes in scale 1:43 by Spark

back to blog overview

Our webshop offers now some modelcars in the common showcase but without the familiar carton. They represent the role models, which competed at the 24 Hours at Le Mans

Bugatti 57G 1937 1:43
BMW 3,5 CSL 1976 1:43
Porsche 917 KH 1970 1:43
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1976 1:43
Bentley Speed 8 2003 1:43

Our webshop offers currently ten modelcars from Spark in the format 1:43 at significantly reduced prices, at which the carton is missing that usually surrounds the miniatures, which however are delivered in the showcase and a protective blister packaging. Advantage here: The prices are on a level from 19,95 euros to 39,95 euros, which is based far below the otherwise up to the twice as expansive novelties. Thus the collector has the opportunity to complete its line-up to the races at the Sarthe or just to expand inexpensively. The 24 heures du Mans for automobiles have been held since 1923: With the Bugatti 57G of the Team Roger Labric, Spark replicates a winner of the early days of the legendary race, with which Jean-Pierre Wimille and Robert Benoist parked at the top of the podium in 1937.

To this role model you can purchase a wonderful modelcar in classic Bugatti-two-tone-blue under the item number CK59752 that like the other miniatures at Spark were made of the high-quality polyurethane resin and perfectly reproduces the details on the surface, printing and wheels. In the 1970s, Porsche's legendary winning streak began with 19 overall victories: the Porsche 917 KH with starting number 21, with which Pedro Rodríguez and Leo Kinnunen in the popular livery of sponsor Gulf of the John Wyer Automotive Engineering team in Le Mans, commemorates this drove (CK59753). In 1976, BMW Motorsport GmbH raged through the field with drivers Sam Posey, Hughes de Fierlant and Harald Grohs and took the 10th place overall with the black BMW 3.5 CSL (CK59751); the overall victory was won by a Porsche 936.

And this after 349 driven laps. The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray with John Greenwood and Bernhard Darniche from Team IMSA Camel John Greenwood only achieved 29 laps in the same race, to which Spark has also produced excellently crafted modelcars (CK59755). The year 2000 was the time of the Audi R8: With starting number 8, Tom Kristensen, Emanuele Pierro and Frank Biela achieved the overall victory of the 24 Hours of Le Mans (CK59797); In 2003, the Bentley Boys Rinaldo Capello, Tom Kristensen and Guy Smith were the lucky winners on the Bentley 8, technically related to the Audi (CK59756). All in all very popular role models, whose models, alongside the Aston Martin Vantage GTE and the winning Porsche 919 from 2017 should not be missing in any motorsports oriented collection and are now available at an extra low price.
