The motorists have the opportunity to put the new BMW X7 in the garage since March, 2019. Provided, of course, that it is large enough: The vehicle of the model series G07 meassures 5,15 meters with remarkable two meters of width. The all-wheel drive car cannot be overlooked with its 1,85 meters of height, which leads to an impressive performance that the two-and-a-half-ton vehicles offer to viewers. An attribute that is naturally also transferred to the modelcars: The French from Norev transfer the look and the appearance of the new BMW X7 into the scale 1:18 and not only give the modelcars the right proportions, but also an openable bonnet and four functioning accesses to the passenger compartment. The miniatures are now available under the item number 80432450997 in BMW-packaging. 

Dimension wise, they are in no way inferior to the prototype: The modelcars, which are true to the original interior and have a detailed engine compartment, are around 29 centimeters long and have steerable front wheels. The color of the model comes very close to the tone of phytonic blue; a metallic paint, which requires the payment of an additional € 1,150 for those who put the base price of € 87,800 on the table for a role model of our model. Speaking of money: For the 22 inch multi-spoke rim, 1,400 euros will be charged extra. The modelcars, on the other hand, are of course much cheaper, although they are no less premium in their segment than the entry-level models of an X7 for the road. The makers from Vaulx-en-Vaulin have exactly reproduced the headlights and BMW kidney grille; the fit of the functional parts is also impressive.

The front bumper and the design of the sills are well-crafted details, which immediately catch the eye of the collector. In the interior we are happy about an elaborately designed bi-color-equipment and thus a tasteful replica of the leather. The monitors behind the headrests and the big, two-part glass roof stand for the top equipment of the models. Norev does not give any information about the engine, but the unattractive, but prototype-like cover of the drive set under the bonnet suggests a straight-six. With this kind of engine, the BMW X7 is available as a petrol and diesel, each controlled by an eight-speed steptronic: 250 kW / 340 hp offers the xDrive40i from a displacement of around 3.0 liters; the xDrive30d delivers 195 kW / 265 hp from a slightly smaller volume.
