Two miniatures, one occasion: On June 16th, 2019, the FIA World Enurance Championship of the so-called superseason 2018/19 ended with the race of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It wears the description superseason, because it spanned two calendar years for the first time. So the highlight of the season was held twice in Le Mans. The Porsche GT Team won the team classification in the GTE Pro class, in which it used four 911 RSR vehicles. The sports car brand celebrated this success with two strictly limited modelcars of this nine-eleven in the scales 1:43 and 1:18: The racing car of the drivers Richard Lietz, Gianmaria Bruni and Frédéric Makowiecki with the starting number 91 is now available in one edition under the item numbers WAP0201480LRSR and WAP0211480LRSR of 2,019 or 1,000 units. Made by Spark in both cases.

And as we know Spark, these two modelcars also meet our requirements for the quality of workmanship. The Asians have perfectly transferred the impression of the successful 911 to the miniatures. The details on the front bumper, sills, the design of the rear wing and exterior mirror fit perfectly. Also outstanding is the quality impression that the surfaces and decorations make on us. Impressive: the replica of the huge diffuser at the rear. The larger modelcar naturally carries out the detailing somewhat more precisely; This is particularly evident in the interior. Both miniatures are built of high-quality polyurethane resin, so they do not have any functional parts. But the 1:18 edition is also delivered with a showcase, which is not a matter of course in this size.

Their prototypes, which are built in the manufacture of the motorsport center in Weissach are powered by a 375 kW / 510 hp 4.0 liter six-cylinder boxer engine and roll on Michelin tires, which Spark also correctly reproduced in both formats. At long last both miniatures are excellent models and should not be missing in a collection that is dedicated to the Porsche theme and / or the 911 in particular. We are looking forward to more modelcars in this regard, because the 2019/20 season has been in full swing since September 1st, 2019. The eighth season started at Silverstone in the UK and ends with the highlight in Le Mans on June 14th, 2020. The Porsche GT Team is back with two vehicles. We wish you a nice weekend and thank you for your loyalty!
