Ferrari brought with the F8 Tributo the successor of the 488 GTB into Switzerland. Its eight-cylinder-biturbo with 3.9 liter displacement developes 529 kW / 720 hp and accelerates the sports car with rear wheel drive in 2,9 seconds to 100; the top speed is specified with 340. The maximum torque is 720 Nm. The buyer finds a redesigned dashboard with new designed air nozzles, control elements and door coverings. The rear is reminiscent of the limited Ferrari J50, which was sold only in Japan on the occassion of the 50th anniversary of Ferrari Japan. As this, the F8 Tributo has each two round rear lights left and right as well as raised exhaust pipes. BBR and BBRmodels have transferred these details in the usual razor-sharp manner to the scale 1:18 modelcar, the appearance of which corresponds exactly to the lines of the prototype.
The miniatures are made of the high-quality resin cast and therefore have no functional parts. But what they offer is flawless processing in terms of painting and fit of the attachments such as glazing, headlights and lights. The color scheme of the model, which is limited to just 188 units, corresponds to the tone blue corsa and thus to the appearance of the prototype at last year's Geneva Motor Show. The replicas of the light alloy wheels correspond to the wheel sets with forged rims, brilliant silver glossy; the brake calipers are retold in yellow. The models are available under item number P18171B and, in our opinion, a real highlight among the innovations from BBR, which also include models of the 500 Superfast from 1965 and 488 Spider 2018. We wish you a happy new year!
