Tomorrow is all over again: On Ash Wednesday ends the carnival season 2018. All the Jecken, who party hard, would certainly appreciate to fall into the soft cushions of a luxury sedan like the Lexus LS 460 and drive home. If that's not granted, you might enjoy the model 1:43 scale model that Kyosho recently delivered. The series designation LS assigns the group to the upper class sedans, which come since 1990 to Germany. Since January of this year, the fifth generation is built, but our model car is still dedicated to the previous version of the series USF40, which left the bands in the Japanese Tahara from 2006 to 2018. Kyosho brings the models in the colors Florentine red, Fuji white, manganese gray, graphite black, as well as in titanium silver and satin silver.
The diecast miniatures impress with the fact that Kyosho has met the appearance of their role models perfectly. Doors and hoods remain as usual closed in this size, but the details of the exterior are eye-catcher enough: grille mask, the headlights, the chrome and attachments are first-class craftsmanship. Exterior mirror housing and the attached door handles are well made; the replicas of the aluminum wheels and the glass sliding roof additionally enhance the model. The prototype has 272 kW / 370 hp with the help of its 4.6-liter V8. Switched by eight-speed automatic. Leather trim and four-zone automatic climate control are standard. The F-Sport package includes a lowered chassis, shift paddles on the steering wheel, a reinforced front end and a limited slip differential. The successor Lexus leads an F version in the program.
