The Audi A8 started as a model series D2 in 1994 and was the successor of the first attempt of the Ingolstadt to take a place in the luxury class, the Audi V8 from 1988. The D5 series was the fourth A8 at the Audi Summit in Barcelona in July this year , to which iScale delivers the first model car. The 1:43 scale miniature is painted in the classic color myth black and perfectly follows the lines of the new A8. The A8 is initially offered with two six-cylinder engines. The 3.0 TFSI petrol engine delivers 250 kW / 340 hp, the diesel 3.0 TDI 210 kW / 286 hp. Later, two eight-cylinder engines with an output of 338 kW / 460 hp will follow as a petrol 4.0 TFSI and the 4.0 TDI with 320 kW / 435 hp. The W12 petrol engine with 12 cylinders and 6.0 liters displacement delivers 430 kW / 585 hp. In the abovementioned long version e-tron, a 3.0 TFSI gasoline engine and an electric motor are installed; Both systems have a system output of 330 kW / 449 hp and develop a system torque of 700 Newtonmeter (Nm). The A8, equipped with a 48-volt electrical system, can drive 50 kilometers in pure electric power. Hoods and doors are unfortunately closed at the model: A must have is for Audi fans nevertheless!
