Before the christams days, which you hopefully survived well, we were allowed to present you the Mercedes-Benz 200 1973 that was a proper dream car for family fathers at that time. The Alfa Romeo GTV6 also belongs to this category, but it was more in the focus of bachelors of the 1980s. But they were also not prevented from loading properly: the coupe offered space for four people and a large trunk. Designer Giorgio Giugiaro drew the combination of an extremely flat and low front with a voluminous rear in order to meet the demands on aerodynamics, i.e. to achieve low air resistance. The two-door was based on the Alfa Romeo Alfetta. The role model of the modelcars presented here with item number S1802304 is the 1980 facelift, recognizable by the plastic attachments.
The extensive update included bumpers, spoilers and side panels, which have been made of plastic ever since. Alfa Romeo also introduced a new dashboard and new seats. The name Alfetta, which the coupes still carried until then, was dropped. It stayed with the GTV and the GTV6, the top model with a six-cylinder and 2.5 liter displacement. The V6 developed 116 kW / 158 hp; externally recognizable by the hump on the bonnet. For this prototype, Solido supplies inexpensive, solidly made modelcars in the color silver beige metallic with steerable front wheels and doors that can be opened. The mold makers meet the impression perfectly; the details such as headlights, grille and rear lights are great! Also very successful: the two-tone interior. From our point of view exactly the right modelcars for the little jaunt between the years!
