The Aston Martin DB11 was honoured with the Golden Steeringwheel as the most beautiful car in the year 2017 from the magazin AutoBild (German Magazin Brand), and that has the sleek coupe from the traditional house well-deserved. The modelcar maker Autoart has now presented beautiful modelcars in new colors that will appeal to the fans as well as the other novelties that have appeared. These include models of the Lamborghini Centenario and the Honda Civic Type R of the FK8 series as well as the Jaguar E-Type Leightweight Coupe from 2015. The miniatures are all held in scale 1:18 and of exceptional quality,as painted surfaces, detail depth and fit of the functional parts: As we know it from Autoart. But we want to concentrate on the Aston Martin DB11 and shed light on its history.

Autoart - own spelling AUTOart - has released models with the two Aston Martin DB11 in light blue and white painting, which correspond exactly to the award-winning lines of their role models. The finish is the very first cream! The perforated, so visible grille, the beads on the hood, the meticulously rebuilt alloy wheels and the brake system bear witness to the same attention to detail in production and development work, such as the subtleties of interior, dashboard and instrument panel of the left-hand drive model. The door sills and outside mirror housings were excellently worked out. The two doors, the trunk lid and the bonnet can be opened. And that's of course the hit, because the Aston Martin DB11 scores powerful in small format just below the front cover.

Aston Martin has thought strategically and relies on two horses: On the one hand, under the bonnet, a V12 developed by the Englishman with biturbo, which provides 447 kW / 608 hp. A slightly stronger AMR-version has been available since last year. The base model, however, is a V8 with 375 kW / 510 hp; an engine that comes from Mercedes-Benz's Comand infotainment system. This power source brings the 1,760-kilogram coupe in 4.0 seconds to 100 km/h or a peak of 300. 3.9 seconds and 322 kilometers per hour are the values of the V12. Both cars rely on a Transaxle rear-wheel drive and have an eight-speed automatic transmission. Such a DB11 costs about 200,000 euros depending on the engine; cool that the diecast models are despite the high level of manufacturing quality but significantly cheaper.
