29.05.2019Two times Mercedes-Benz 2018: Norev delivers V Class and CLS

The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class as well as the big V-Class were presented in new form in the model year 2018. The modelcar builder from Norev have achieved the license to build matching miniatures in scale 1:18. First verisons in the Mercedes-Benz typically advertising model packaging have already appeared, but Norev now submits with one variant each for the trade. Both models are kept in silver and thus probably address the vast majority of collectors. As you would expect, the team from Vaulx-en-Vaulin, near Lyon, offers the miniatures with openable doors and hoods, a functioning steering and lots of perfectly imitated details. We don't have to mention that the appearance of the modelcars hit the lines of the role models exactly.

Last but not least, Norev has become a home supplier of Mercedes-Benz since it resembles the models perfectly in terms of contours and design; also to recognize in the miniatures that deliver the French to classic cars with the star on the hood. Not yet belonged to this division, the four-door coupe CLS, which we see here in its third version, has the internal model designation C 257 and was presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, 2017. The barely five meter long car is available as CLS 350 with 2.0 liter four-cylinder and rear-wheel-drive and as CLS 450 4matic as well as Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 4matic+ with all-wheel-drive and 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder. The CLS drives are combined with an electric engine: 220 kW +10 kW / 299 PS +14 PS, 270 kW + 16 kW / 367 PS + 22 PS sowie 320 kW + 16 kW / 435 PS + 22 PS.

Norev has meticulously paid attention that the gap dimensions of the four openable doors, the bonnet and the trunk are as small as possible, so that the model appears in a high quality appearance. The glass roof is adapted perfectly to the diecast-surroundings. The diamond grill is also on board. The team from Norev shows a lot of love to detail with the reproduction of the sensors field, on which the inside of the inner mirror sits. The interior does not forget to reproduce the controls as thoroughly as possible. Of the same quality is the modelcar of the V-Class, which has the 2019 introduced facelift model designation 447 as a role model. The three engines with 120 kW / 163 PS, 140 kW / 190 PS and 176 kW 239 PS all build on the same four-cylinder diesel engine OM 654, whose 2.0-liter displacement is supported by a turbocharger.
