This week of the gray winter, we start with a colorful joy donator: As such, we arrange the modelcars of the Chevrolet G-Series Van that Greenlight delivered in the context of the novelties last week. The model is built out of diecast and therefore offers a lot of features: The two driver doors, the double-wing tailgate and the side sliding door are fully functional. But we particularly like the interior equipment and colors of the Chevyvan 10 from 1976: In bright orange, the car comes to the collector, decorated with four different striped decors. The massive grille shows off its chrome and thus plays in the league of steel wheels of the converted pickup truck. Because basically the model is a van, lovingly converted into a homely recreational vehicle.

The G-series from Chevrolet is identical to the GMC Vandura, which was driven by the most prominent descendant of B.A. Baracus in the TV series "The A-Team". The name Chevyvan 10 on our model car suggests that the makers of Greenlight have opted for a base van as a role model for their modelcar with the article number HWY18012: The 10 stands for the weight class, to which the role model belongs: The G10, G20 or G30 stands for the respective total weight of vans or minibuses, which were produced from 1968 to 1996 with several facelifts and three wheelbases; each powered by 4.1 liter V6 and 5.0 or 5.7 liter V8 engines. Greenlight waived the option of an opening hood at the here presented model.

Beautiful interior awakes holiday mood

As mentioned above, the modelcars of the third-generation G10 are available in scale 1:18 and have an individualized interior, into which the collectors are able to look through the porthole in the rear side panel. The instrument panel is in white and engages the exterior color in its panels around instruments and the glove compartment; an elaborate drinks table between the front seats promises comfort in the role model and detail in the modelcar as well as folding armrests. A refrigerator is installed in the rear; At the back, the car is equipped with a ladder to the roof, which provides a railing. These features and the splendor of colors on the harmonious appearance of the skin make the Chevyvan 10, which is limited in its quantity, to a mood-enhancing highlight, with which we wish you a good start into the week!
