After the first victory in the summer of 1970, four more followed in the inaugural season. Jochen Rindt's world championship title in 1970 was followed by another in 1972 with Emerson Fittipaldi. With the Lotus 72, the team succeeded in winning the Constructors' World Championship title a total of three times in 1970, 1972 and 1973.
Our set shows the cars from the 1974 French Grand Prix with drivers Jacky Ickx and Ronnie Peterson. At this time, the Lotus 72 was already four years old, but still won three times in the 1974 season. Peterson won in France, while Ickx finished fifth. The Lotus was used until 1975.
