So it is also with the Model car  of the Porsche 956 K in the 1:18 scale, which replicates the Einsatzwagen of Bob Wollek, which for the team Joest in the steering wheel. And now the ears of our readers would have to ring: Joest Racing is one of the best teams in motorsport. Starting in 2018 with Mazda Motorsport and the Mazda RT24-P in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in North America and there in the class Daytona Prototype international (DPi), the team became a world champion as a serie winner in Le Mans. Joest's career began in 1962 with a Porsche 75 S at the Bergrennen Eberbach. Until 1967 Joest drove mainly in this genre and secured the German championship twice. Porsche 956 recalls the start of the team

1983 - the year in which Bob Wollek played with the model of our Modellautos - the group C celebrated its premiere. In the debut of the Porsche 956 in the Italian Monza, Joest Racing makes a sensation: Wollek and Thierry Boutsen win in the private Joest Porsche against the Porsche factory. In the Belgian town of Zolder, Wollek won the Porsche 956 as part of the DRM, which Minichamps, in cooperation with the specialist dealers modelissimo and ck-modelcars, dedicated a 1:18 model only available. The miniature is limited to only 504 copies and is listed under the item number 153836601 in the catalog. The Porsche 956 began its career with a 455 kW / 620 hp six-cylinder box engine with two turbos. The sports car prototype won all the driver and brand titles of the FIA ??World Sports Championship from 1982 to 1984.
