In 2022, Max Verstappen achieved his second world champion title. This season, Verstappen was able to climb 1st place on the podium in a total of 15 races. But his teammate Sergio Pérez also clinched two wins and further podium places. The label Minichamps took two of the races in which the Red Bull team was successful as an opportunity to launch three modelcars in scale 1:18 exclusively for ck-modelcars. One of the models was used at the fifth race of the season in Miami. Max Verstappen was able to celebrate one of the 15 victories of the season there. Minichamps has produced 444 pieces of the car for this. In the second race in Saudi Arabia it was almost the first time of the season that teammates Verstappen and Pérez shared the podium. Sergio Pérez will remember this day as the Mexican secured the first pole position of his Formula-1 career there. In the end, however, Verstappen won and Pérez finished fourth. Minichamps has also launched both RB18 used in Saudi Arabia. The vehicle driven by Max Verstappen has a limited number of 555 units. Sergio Pérez's vehicle was produced 222 times. All three models mentioned have experienced a faithful replica of the cockpit in which the respective driver figure has taken a seat. The models are delivered in a high-quality collector's folding box.
Max Verstappen started the season 2022 as the defending champion. The year before, the knot had finally burst and the world championship could be taken home. The world press and the competition then looked rather critically at the unveiling of the RB18 model, which was planned for the 2022 season. Red Bull had been working on the previous model for a very long time in 2021 to ensure the championship and thus possibly deducted important resources in the development of the RB18, was the assumption that was made. It was all the more exciting to see what the start of the season 2022 would look like for the defending champion. In any case, the goal of “title defense” had been declared. By the summer break of the season 2022, everything looked as if the team around Max Verstappen would achieve this goal again. At that point, Verstappen was in P1 with a total of 80 points ahead of second-placed Charles Leclerc. In the Constructors' Championship, too, things looked more than good for the Red Bull team. There they even led by 100 points ahead of their competitor Ferrari.
Red Bull is simply breaking new ground in the season 2022. It is constantly being optimized and new parts are constantly being added to the racing car. At the beginning of the season, the RB18 was said to have a lack of reliability, too much weight and disappointing results in qualifying. But at Red Bull they have such a good feel for adjusting the driving behavior that the table of the world championship does not share this picture. At the second race in Bahrain, the RB18 already got new sidepods and a modified underbody. In the end, the team from Milton Keynes has 15 wins to their name. Defending champion Max Verstappen has a car and a team at his side that make it easy for him to win. His teammate Sergio Perez is in the shadow of the world champion but can also shine with two victories and several podium places. Perez thus scores important points for Red Bull in the fight for the constructors' championship. With the 2022 season, another season comes to an end in which one can speak of a dominance of the "bulls".
