No, the modelcar label DNA collectibles does not belong to the car company Volkswagen, even if it uses a picture from the Autostadt as the cover image of its website. But products from Wolfsburg are still in the focus of the Chinese modelcar makers: With the VW Golf IV GTI "25 years" from 2002, the Audi 200 quattro turbo from 1991 and the Audi S4 B5 series in nogaroblau from 1997, already three prominent representatives from the extensive history of the Wolfsburg are in the program of DNA collectibles. But the makers of the brand also seem to be connected to the Saab company. To keep an eye on the role models for their modelcars, which now or from the beginning have rarity on the streets. So we come to the question of who is actually behind the new brand DNA collectibles.

As so often, it is the decision to stop dreaming and finally live the long-cherished dream of creating the DNA Group S.A. in the Swiss Lausanne. Four guys have decided to follow their passion and share it with the world: A brand for the construction of modelcars has been created to meet a high quality standard and to share this with the audience worldwide. Passion and emotion, these are two things that repeatedly confronts us as the trigger for the founding of modelcar companies: Not the worst starting position. The models, with which DNA collectibles makes its debut on our blog, are available in scale 1:43 in relatively small numbers. Certainly a highlight is the Nevs 9-3 Turbo prototype Saab 99 Turbo Tribute 2014, limited to 320 units.

The model car which is available under the item number DNA000007, replicates a vehicle of the National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB. Shorten as NEVS, the company is a Swedish holding company founded in April 2012 to acquire the bankruptcy estate of Saab Automobile. The company produced a limited number of new Saab 9-3 from 2013 to 2014, which refers to the cardinal red painted model car. Of the previously mentioned Golf, 320 pieces are available; like the 370 Audi 200 and 320 Audi S4, each with a production number, one can read on the chassis. With the Mazda RX7 convertible and the Subaru Bratby and the Leone 1800 and the Volvo V70 XC 1997 in sandstone, other rare models are available for selection. Concerning the S6 Fuldamobil and the Honda City EV Concept 2017, models will also be available in 1:18.
