Finally: Many 1:43 collectors had already thought they were forgotten about by Spark because the latest models all appeared in the so-called Bburago size. But Hugo Ripert and his team  are reloading: We recommend a look at the Toyota Rebellion R-One , the Spark presented in 2 versions. Firstly, in the driver line-up Dominik Kraihamer, Andrea Belicchi and Fabio Leimer and that of the driver Nicolas Prost, Nick Heidfeld and Mathias Beche. The models for these high-quality and fascinating detail built model cars started the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2014, almost exactly one year ago. The models in 1:43 scale know how to inspire by harmonious proportions, excellent prints and immaculate detailing.

Marvellous details

The small telemetry antennas, for example, the windshield wipers running in filigree form , the microscopically accurate  engineering of the interior of the headlights and the ever-improving design of the cockpit  - as much freedom of expression must be allowed in a blog - simply knock us off our feet. Or better: off the driver's seat. A lot of effort even at the replica of the light-alloy wheels, exterior mirrors and the carbon structure in diffuser. Given the high quality of the model, the price of each 57,95 EUR is not too much. But where exactly were the role models? Let's take a look back: The car with the start number 12 of Prost, Heidfeld and Beche made 4th place after  360 laps the final classification.

Rebellion builds chassis in cooperation with Oreca

The car of the Swiss team Rebellion Racing started in the LMP1 group L. Rebellion Racing takes  place in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), the FIA World Endurance Championship, won  the then-called series European Le Mans Series in 2011 and  2012 and the total victory of the LMP1 class. Team boss Alexandre Pesci;  manager is Bart Hayden. The chassis is built by rebellion in collaboration with Oreca itself; the engine, the Swiss started with, is the Toyota 3.4L V8 RV8KLM. The tires come from Michelin. The car of Kraihamer, Belicchi and Leimer came in 47th place after failure after 73 driven laps. Who cares: we believe that the red racers are real highlights for the showcases
