On March 2nd, of this year, which is still affected by the pandemic, the team of the editorial staff communicated to the fans of this blog that ck-modelcars.de continues to be loyal to the friends of the KÜS Team Bernhard. Loyality is important: With this in mind, we would also like to thank you, dear customers, for allowing us to supply you with modelcars! Miniatures for the Porsche 911 GT3 R now with a larger ck-modelcars.de logo in a more prominent position, however, cannot be found in the webshop yet: It is too early for that. But there is news to report, because at the beginning of this month the driver pairing for the second car, the one with starting number 74, was not yet determined. Things have changed now: Unfortunately, Simona de Silvestro and Klaus Bachler are no longer on board; the team's second cockpit is now occupied by 21-year-old Jannes Fittje and 23-year-old Dylan Pereira from Luxembourg.

With one familiar and one new face, the KÜS Team Bernhard occupies its second Porsche 911 GT3 R in the ADAC GT Masters, the international German GT-championship, which is going to start on the weekend of May 14th to 16th, 2021, at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben and will probably end at the Hockenheimring on October 24th: In the vehicle with starting number 74, Jannes Fittje from Langenhain a young pilot takes place, who was part of the squad from the Palatinate Landstuhl last year and recommended himself for a contract extension with good performance. His second place in the rookie classification was the deserved wages for his work. He shares the cockpit with newcomer Dylan Pereira. The 23 year old Luxembourger is Porsche specialist, he has been driving four year with the race cars from Zuffenhausen.

Last year he was runner-up in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and the Porsche Supercup. In the Supercup he took two wins, two second and two third places, and was only seven points behind the champion in the overall standings. In the Carrera Cup Germany, Dylan missed the title by just nine points. He got five race wins and three second places. In cooperation with the reigning GT-Masters champion Christian Engelhart and Thomas Preining in the sister car with the number 75, the KÜS Team Bernhard is aiming for top positions in the driver and team standings in the "League of Super Sports Cars". Max Messidat is also new to the KÜS Team Bernhard: The crew chief is the coordinator for all programs and vehicles used by the team. Messidat switched from the Rosberg team in Neustadt at the Weinstrasse to the KÜS Team Bernhard.

Max supervised the car of René Rast in the DTM, with which he achieved the title in 2017, 2019 and 2020. But let us hear now some words of welcome. Jannes Fittje: "I'm very happy for going to the start again with the KÜS Team Bernhard. I think it is very important to drive a second year in the same team and continuing the good cooperation. Now we can improve all the things that we achieved and worked out in the past season and implement them even more effectively in order to achieve one or the other really good result. ... The team has partly repositioned itself, I'm really excited to get to know the new people. ... I'm really looking forward to the meeting and the first test. So slowly it is almost unbearable not to drive!"

And what does Dylan Pereira say to his premiere at the team of the two-times endurance world champion and Le-Mans winner Timo Bernhard? "I am very happy to drive in the ADAC GT Masters. This is one of the most demanding championships in Germany for me. Of course, it is great to join the KÜS Team Bernhard, the team of Porsche-legend Timo Bernhard. I think it is going to be a great cooperation. I hope for beeing successful and to drive about victories, or better to fight for the title."The final word belongs to the new crew chief, Max Messidat: “I am very happy that I can be a member of the KÜS Team Bernhard. I'm really excited about the new challenge as crew chief in the ADAC GT Masters!” The ck-modelcars.de team too: “We're looking forward to a successful year together!”
