It is a real beauty, which the makers from GT-Spiritmodels present the fans of strong sports cars in off-road look as well as friend of miniatures: The Brabus 800 Black & Gold Edition model year 2020 comes under item number G807 ini scale 1:18, limited to just 999 pieces and in a finish that will make the collectors very happy. Indeed doors and hoods remain without any function at the models, built from the high quality polyurethan cast resin in obsidian black, but the large panes of the role model, based on the Mercedes-AMG G63, offer a best possible insight into the world of luxury-automobile construction. That the Brabus 800 Black & Gold Edition belongs to them is proven with the key data: 588 kW / 800 hp at a maximum torque of 1000 Newton meters (Nm) accelerate the SUV up to 240 kilometers per hour.
The eight-cylinder accelerates from zero to 100 in incredible 4.1 seconds, and this sprint can also be read from our heartbeat: the modelcars inspire the team at ck-modelcars.de from the first millimeter. As always, it starts at the beginning: the razor-sharp edges of the radiator grille mask alone demonstrate how concentrated the makers of GT-Spiritmodels are at work. The vertically arranged struts of the main grill are also perforated, as are the honeycomb grill inserts in the front apron. The indicators on the fenders are classics and have a perfect finish; the bonnet replicates the carbon matt look according to the model, the technology of which requires a little more space above. Extra wide: fender flares and sills - that is Brabus Widestar at its best! But it doesn't stop there.
The modelcars even replicate the roof attachment carbon matt with LED-lights; also the rear spoiler has been considered in format 1:18. Let us stay at the rear: the rear door attachment "No spare wheel in carbon matt" has also been considered correctly by the mold makers from GT-Spirit. Keyword wheels: The collectors of these miniatures can enjoy the Brabus Monoblock Y light-alloy wheels in the Gold Edition. Front: 11J x 23 H2 ET 25, rear 11J x 23 H2 ET 20; of course in 1:18. The tires replicate the 305/35 ZR 23 (V105) 111Y XL Yokohama Advan Sport. All the features that GT-Spiritmodels copied into the model, e.g. on the brakes on the model in gold, are also implemented accordingly in the interior. They are top-class modelcars that are applying for a space in the collectors' showcases. As for our team, we accept this application.
