On September 9th, 2019, the Ferrari 812 GTS was presented to the public, the open version of the Ferrari 812 Superfast - the strongest vehicle from Maranello that was ever released on the street, if one look at it from the point of view of the pure combustion engine. The same engine, which powers the coupe, can be also found under the engine hood of the 812 GTS, the convertible: The twelve-cylinder installed lenghtways at the front delivers 588 kW / 800 hp to the rear wheel drive via the seven-speed dual-clutch-transmission. Its maximum torque is 718 Newton meters (Nm); the top speed is given with 340 kilometers per hour. It goes without saying that BBR Models would not fail to present exclusive modelcars for this exclusive role model, which have now reached the incoming goods department of ck-modelcars.de in even more exclusive numbers.

The workmanship of the miniatures cannot be improved. The models are made of the high-quality polyurethane cast resin: under item number P18184E in avus white and limited to 32 pieces; in giallo modena yellow in the same amount, under the designation P18184C. With the P18184H, the 1:18 sports car comes in British racing green. BBR Models lists the edition in Enzo red under the P18184G (24 pieces); under P18184I in matt red in an edition of 20 units. 32 models are delivered in ingrid gray (P18184F). In view of the lines, an impressive collection can be put together from this series. The models presented here replicate the open version of the 812 GTS: Their role model has a retractable hard top that disappears in the rear in just 14 seconds.

And this up to a speed of 45 kilometers per hour. If the hard top stays up, the electrically controllable rear window can be sunk, so that the inmates can enjoy the sound of the V12; in the moment of the acceleration from zero to 100 in 3.0 seconds with a probability bordering on certainty a great pleasure! The 812 GTS accelerates to 200 in 8.5 seconds. Due to the chosen material, no engine can be seen in these modelcars; Doors and hoods remain closed. But the look into the interior compensates for that, the subtleties of which are retold correctly and with attention to detail, from the instruments to the seams of the seats.
