With the missions of our CK-sales-trailer, we start this year already on January 17th and look forward to welcome you at the "InterClassics Maastricht 20": Until finally January 19th, 2020, you can visit us at our trailer in the exhibition and congress center MECC on stand number No. 1453. As it should be for a classic fair, we of course put the emphasis on modelcars of young and oldtimer, on those from the street as of course especially from the racetrack. A novelty of this sector is the Bugatti T35 from 1925, with which Norev has found its niche in the field of miniatures in scale 1:12. A full of 35 centimeters measures this modelcar, which impresses under the item number 125701 in black painting with a model-like replica of the cockpit.
But if you want to know what else you can see at InterClassics Maastricht 20 besides our modelcars, focus on the topic of this fair: "Forgotten Classics: Epic designs from the past"; forgotten car brands. At the 27th edition of InterClassics Maastricht, the most memorable car brands will be presented, which no longer exist today, but which produced sensational designs in their time. '2020 Forgotten Classics' is the theme of the classic car fair, which is now one of the largest classic car events in the Benelux area. Legendary vehicles from these ‘Forgotten Classics’, such as the Talbot Lago, Hispano Suiza, Pegaso, Spyker, Minerva, Bristol, Horch etc., can be admired during the InterClassics Maastricht 2020 alongside many young and oldtimers from our everyday lives of the past decades.
The automobiles were made available by various international museums and private collectors. A total of 25 'Forgotten Classics' come to the theme pavilion at the fair, including the Studebaker Champion Regal Deluxe Starlight Coupé from 1950, which was designed by Parisian-born Raymond Loewy (1893-1986). Loewy is one of the most important industrial designers of the twentieth century and designed, among other things, the world-famous design of the cola bottle, the logo of the Lucky Strike cigarette brand, the Frigidaire refrigerator, the Dutch Sprinter train and the first Concorde facility. In the 1950s and 1960s, Loewy headed the design department at Studebaker, where he designed the Champion, the Hawk and the Avanti, as well as the coupe described at the beginning of this paragraph.
