Over the following decade, Clark and his mentor Colin Chapman conquered the world together. Clark won the world championship twice with Lotus and claimed victory in the Indy 500 once. In total, Clark celebrated over 100 race wins in a Lotus.

This 400-page work by McKlein is dedicated not only to his extraordinary career but also to Clark’s private life from A to Z. Author Graham Gauld has closely followed the career of this exceptional talent from the very beginning as a friend, photographer and reporter, spending countless hours with Clark. For this book, Gauld has gone through his old audio tapes once again and compiled his best photographs. Furthermore, this lavishly illustrated volume contains rare photographs from various well-known archives, thus offering an intimate portrait of the champion.
