25.10.2021New Formula 1 models announced by Minichamps

At the time of writing, there are still 6 race weekends in the Formula 1 calendar for the 2021 season. So it is slowly coming to an end. Minichamps is working on the starting field of the current season from the beginning. Minichamps has thus announced new products that collectors and fans of Formula 1 modelcars will be able to get excited about next year.

As usual, Minichamps delivers the various models in the two popular scales 1:43 and 1:18. In addition, the modelcar manufacturer not only specializes in one material in production, but also relies on the high-quality polyurethane cast resin and the diecast plastic composite. This is also reflected in the prices of the respective models. Here the models that are made of resin are priced a little higher than the models made of diecast. This can be attributed to the higher production costs of the resin.

A modelcar, or a modelcar set, stands out in particular because with the year of the Grand Prix of 1991 it steps out of line with the current models from 2021. It is a 2-car set, which presents Michael Schumacher and Mick Schumacher. Here, Minichamps took Michael’s Formula 1 car from the 1991 Belgian GP and his son Mick’s car from the 2021 GP of the same name as a model. This 2-car set with the combination of father and son is almost unique and an absolute highlight that collectors and fans can look forward to.
