This lavishly produced book provides unique insights into the construction and assembly of 15 selected Ferrari engines and documents the inner workings of these works of mechanical art. Journalist and photographer Francesco Reggiani had the unique opportunity to be an onlooker during the overhaul of various engines, to look over the shoulders of the specialists and to photograph and document the work on some of the most beautiful Ferrari models. While working with the disassembled and reassembled engines, he was always amazed by the aesthetic appeal of these engines, which are the heart and soul of these fascinating vehicles.
