2026 will be an important year for Christoph Krombach and ck-modelcars in the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series. Krombach will once again compete for W&S Motorsport with a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport and will also become an official series partner of the popular endurance championship on the Nürburgring Nordschleife with ck-modelcars.
"In 2026, we at ck-modelcars are expanding our involvement in the NLS and at the Nürburgring. We are an official series partner of the NLS and will be present at selected races with our sales trailer. We will also be featured with banner advertising and commercials in the live stream in 2026. Our product range will include more vehicles from the NLS and the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring in 2026, and of course, our shop in Adenau will reopen in March for fans, collectors, and souvenir hunters," Krombach is pleased to announce.
The founder of ck-modelcars will once again compete in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring with a W&S Motorsport Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport in the Am-category of the Cup 3 class. For the 2026 season, the car's design has been updated with fresh and striking colors, ensuring the Cayman will stand out in the racing series. Krombach will share the starting grid with Oliver Kunz and the talented young driver Lion Düker.
Christoph Krombach reveals the strategy for the 2026 season: "The newly designed CK Cayman is entering its second season with W&S Motorsport. The PETN Cup 3 is one of the most competitive classes in the NLS, and the challenge of reaching the podium is significant. Our goal is consistent, error-free racing at a high pace, regular podium finishes, and remaining in contention for the championship until the very end."
“The preparation was intensive; we worked very diligently throughout the winter. Together with Oliver Kunz and Christoph Krombach, we've laid a solid foundation,” adds Lion Düker. “The focus is on getting the most out of the car and setting the pace in the race. If we remain consistent and error-free, a podium finish in the Am class is absolutely realistic.”
“I'm looking forward to another season with W&S Motorsport and my teammates Christoph and Lion. I want to improve significantly and am aiming for lap times around 8:50 minutes. My goal is to finish on the podium in the Am class at the end of the season,” says a motivated Oliver Kunz before the season opener.
The ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series kicks off its 2026 season on March 14th. A total of ten races will be held on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, each lasting either four or six hours. All NLS races count towards the final standings of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring, except for the two races held as part of the ADAC 24h Qualifiers.
