Thanks to tuning icon Sidney Hoffmann, we're now going one better: the story behind the first RWB Porsche in Germany and the brand new model is presented.
“This is an absolute honor for me as the owner of ck-modelcars,” says Christoph Krombach in the fourth episode of CK TV. “Pretty much everything in this project was unique. Starting with the vehicle up to Sidney, who for me is without a doubt one of the most famous personalities when it comes to tuning. We are incredibly proud of the end result.”
What does he mean by end result? A RWB Porsche in scale 1:18! There is a captivating story behind the original, which Sidney Hoffmann tells in the new episode of CK TV. It's about how the world-famous brand RWB (Rauh-Welt Wort) first opened its doors in Germany.
What he lovingly describes as a “broad beast” would soon become an absolute passion project for the tuning icon. Initial discussions with Akira Nakai San, the man behind the brand, ultimately paved the way for Hoffmann to become the first RWB Porsche in Germany in 2016.
Now there is the modelcar. “And it’s not just any car. No, this is a 1:1 copy of my Furusato,” says Hoffmann. Christoph Krombach adds: “We put the model on the original and the color was exactly the same. But the ultraviolet color is just one of many similarities.”
