It is the place that racetrack visitors check out first, when they want to see the newest modelcars from near.
But what if the modelcars didn't stay in their place in the shop, but went on tour? Admittedly, that sounds a bit confused, but that was exactly the task for the motorsport photographers from Gruppe C. The guys, who normally focus on the big racers, were supposed to stage the miniature versions at the Nürburgring.
Scenes were places, which immediately catch the eye of every Nürburgring-fan. For example, there are the petrol pumps, which probably do not exist in this form in any other pit lane. The facilities are an important part of the Nürburgring Endurance Series, in which teams such as IronForce Racing and Falken Motorsports regularly compete. Two Porsche 911 GT3 R from the teams took center stage for the photo shoot.
The red-white "PIT-LANE" lettering in front of each box should be known as well. The motif, which adorns numerous advertising posters, served the experts from Gruppe C as a photo location. The “models” for this: three Porsche 911 GT3 R, with which the IronForce team, Team75 Bernhard and the team from Herberth Motorsport competed in the ADAC GT Masters.
By the way, all models are from the manufacturer Ixo in scale 1:18, who has devoted himself to the GT3 vehicles with great attention to detail.
