Ever since Manthey Racing was founded, the Nürburgring long distance championship - short VLN - has been part of the field of activity of the racing team from Meuspath. Since the start of this racing series that has been held at the Nürburgring from 1977, Manthey Racing has always been able to leave the competitors behind: With more than 50 successes in single races, it is the sole record holder in the Green Hell.

With the Porsche 911 GT3 R in bright green "Grello-Look“, Manthey Racing also participated in the VLN of the season 2018. With the drivers Richard Lietz, Patrick Pilet and Nick Tandy as well as starting number 912 - also victorious in this constellation in the 24 Hour race 2018 at the Nürburgring - the team achieved the 7th position in the overall standings at the end of the year.
