It’s that time again. This year’s election to the modelcar of the year is coming up. As in the previous years, this year the label CMR is back with numerous sensations. Since the last election for the modelcar of the year, ck-modelcars has created a number of projects in cooperation with CMR, but also other labels such as iScale or Ixo, which were nominated with a total of eight models and are now up for the election to the modelcar of the year. The quality of the miniatures made of diecast or resin plastic is beyond any doubt. This may also have led to models from CMR being nominated in this year's election to the modelcar of the year in a total of four categories or being submitted to the vote of readers and fans. The awarding of the prizes to the winners determined by the readers is celebrated every year with a large industry get-together that has enjoyed cult status for years. How it will be this year, however, as the pandemic still imposes restrictions, is still unclear.

Traditionally, numerous representatives from the modelcar and automobile as well as commercial vehicle and agricultural machinery industry from all over Europe come together for this event of the trade journal Modellfahrzeug - own spelling MODELL FAHRZEUG. It is therefore something very special for the manufacturers of miniatures to be nominated for the Oscar of the modelcar industry: This year for the 31st time! Christoph Krombach to this: “I am extremely pleased that we were nominated with seven models in six different categories! After winning the modelcar Oscar for the first time last year and directly four times, we are again strongly represented with ck-modelcars. projects! This shows that we hit the nerve of the collectors and our price-quality policy and product selection seem to be successful. We hope to have numerous voters for our models and would be very happy to receive a modelcar Oscar also in 2021!“
