The license for the production of modelcars to the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class 2019 has landed in the right place with Almost Real. Therefore, we anticipate the conclusion to the finish of these miniatures: There is no better way to make models for this highlight. The mold makers have transferred the update of the X 222 series in the best possible way to the format 1:43: the new radiator grille, a two-color finish and new color combinations in the interior create an even more stylish appearance. The showpiece celebrated its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2018, with sales starting in April thereafter. The modelcars come to the collector in limited quantities of 504 units each in the following colors: The ruby black / aragonite silver version is available under item number ALM420107; in obsidian black / iridium silver under ALM420106.

The third version with anthracite blue / aragonite silver under ALM420108 is no less elegant. The role models of these modelcars are the Mercedes-Maybach S 560, S 560 4matic with V8 as well as the S 650 with its V12 under the bonnet. The two eight-cylinders develope 345 kW / 469 hp as well as 700 Newton meters (Nm) of maximum torque from their 4.0 liter displacement. The twelve-cylinder generates from its 6.0 liter 463 kW / 630 hp at 1,000 Nm. With 4.9 or 4.7 seconds, which they need to accelerate from zero to 100, they are not fare away from each other. With a length of 5.462 meters and a wheelsbase of 3.365 meters, the flagship model range surpasses the S-Class limousine with long wheelbase by 20 centimeters in both dimensions. Passengers also benefit from the standart equipment with executive seats on the left and right. 

Since the market launch in February 2015, already over 25,000 Mercedes-Maybach S-Classes were delivered. Also in 2017, more than every tenth sold S-Class was such a vehicle. No doubt that also the modelcars belong to the most requested representatives of their species and the each 504 pieces will be sold out quickly. As mentioned at the beginning, the miniatures produced from diecast correspond exactly to their role models. The radiator grille and the shaping of the front bumper inspire us especially. The delimitation of the two colors also succeeded very well. Add-on parts like the door handles and the star on the hood, the brand and engine logos as well as designations and the glazing correspond in terms of built quality to the high standars that a brand like Maybach demands.
