The American replaced Nicholas Latifi and had to go through a steep learning curve in his first year. Williams also appointed a new team boss, James Vowles. With fresh staff and the newly designed FW45, the team hoped for positive change.
However, compared to the FW44, the new vehicle's performance has not improved significantly. The team led by James Vowles achieved 28 championship points and a resulting seventh place in the constructors' championship after the 2023 season. In the team's internal duel, Alex Albon clearly prevailed against rookie Logan Sargeant with 27 points.
At the start of the season at the Bahrain International Circuit, the driver duo of Albon and Sargeant showed what the new vehicle can do. From positions 15 and 16 on the grid, the two Williams drivers began a strong race to catch up. After driving 57 laps, Alexander Albon secured a championship point. His teammate crossed the finish line just two places behind, completing the positive start to the season for the team from Grove.

On the one hand, the original cars are available individually. Alex Albon's Williams is limited to 333 examples. Logan Sargeant's car is available 222 times. In addition, both cars were released in a 2-car set, which is limited to 111 pieces.
