Sergio Pérez can look back on a very successful series four races before the end of the 2023 season. Due to his consistent, confident performances, the Mexican is in second place in the ranking behind teammate Max Verstappen. The Dutchman is uncatchable for Pérez, that's for sure. However, Pérez can still defend second place against Hamilton (30 points behind Pérez) and Alonso (41 points behind Pérez) in the last four races. The 33-year-old, who made his Formula 1-debut in 2011, is one of the experienced drivers. After two years at Sauber, one year at McLaren, four years at Force-India and two years at Racing Point, Pérez seems to finally have arrived at Red Bull. The Mexican has been working for the energy manufacturer's team since 2021. He has had a more than successful start to the current season. After a second place in the first race of the season in Bahrain, a victory followed in the second race in Saudi Arabia. The Red Bull RB19 with which Pérez achieved this victory is one of the three vehicles that we would like to introduce in today's blog post. Minichamps made the model of the Red Bull vehicle from the high quality material resin and equipped it with a figure of the driver. The model in scale 1:43, manufactured exclusively for ck-modelcars, is limited to 222 pieces. The delivery, which comes in high-quality high-cover collector's packaging, includes a matching box board that can be placed next to the model.
In addition to the vehicle from the Red Bull racing team, Minichamps has also launched the two Alfa Romeo vehicles with drivers Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou from the current season. Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou have already made a good team since the 2022 season. While 34-year-old Bottas has been behind the wheel of various Formula 1-cars since 2013 and is under contract with Alfa Romeo for the third team in his career, 24-year-old Guanyu Zhou can still be described as a newcomer. Zhou will complete his second season not only at Alfa Romeo, but also in Formula 1 in general in 2023. It's no secret that Zhou and Bottas get along very well. It's no surprise that both drivers have already been confirmed at Alfa Romeo for the 2024 season. The team from Switzerland is planning with two constants for the third year in a row. For Guanyu Zhou, the 2024 season also has a very special GP in the calendar, as the Formula 1 racing circuit will be visiting his home country of China in 2024.
Zhou was able to score the first two points of the current season with a ninth place at the GP in Melbourne. Bottas, who already had four points to his name at this point, unfortunately remained pointless with an eleventh place in Melbourne. The label Minichamps also produced the two Alfa Romeo C43s with which the two drivers competed in Melbourne exclusively for ck-modelcars in scale 1:43 and in a limited number of 222 pieces each. These models were also made from the high-quality material resin. The 1:43 scale cars are based on the role model in every detail and are also delivered in high-quality high-cover collector's packaging. Of course, the figure of the respective driver should not be missing in such a high-quality model.
