“In 2025, we launched the Furusato, the first event of its kind. The combination of a strictly limited model car with signature meeting the original vehicle is unique for us. Its success has proven us right. Not only was the Furusato named Model Car of the Year, but the demand from fans was also enormous,” said company founder Christoph Krombach. “The first Collector’s Edition sold out within a few days. For 2026, we considered how we could top the event. We succeeded by bringing together both RWB original Porsches, each with 555 model cars. Sidney personally signed and numbered all the models. My special thanks go to the National Automobile Museum for once again hosting this event, and of course to Sidney Hoffmann for his contribution.”
The ultraviolet Porsche 911 (993) Rauh-Welt concept “Furusato” by Sidney Hoffmann continues to shock and amaze people worldwide. In 2016, this RWB Porsche was the first to be modified in Germany by tuning legend Akira Nakai-san and, as a nod to Porsche's "country of origin," was named "Furusato." Characteristic features include the striking body kit, the eye-catching overfenders, the front end with its rubber lip, the side skirts, the fender wings, and the rear end with its spoiler cover and extra-wide wing. The RWB Porsche is powered by one of the last air-cooled 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engines. Like every vehicle modified by Nakai-san, it is a unique, meticulously handcrafted masterpiece. The model in scale 1:18 from WERK83 features a true-to-life interior, steerable front wheels, and opening doors. As a special highlight, a minifigure of Sidney Hoffmann is included, which is sold exclusively with the model car.

This RWB, too, features flared wheel arches, a low-slung body kit, wide fenders, and a prominent rear wing. Fittingly for this unique interpretation of the RWB, the car is named "Osechi," which in Japanese means a new beginning, something special, and something handcrafted. The WERK83 model, also in scale 1:18, features opening doors, steerable front wheels, and a meticulously detailed cockpit, just like the "Furusato."
The hand-signed and numbered WERK83 model cars, crafted with the highest precision and attention to detail, are sold in scale 1:18 in a collector's box. They are available now from ck-modelcars.de. The models marked with the number 1 will be auctioned on November 22nd of this year as part of the National Automobile Museum's charity auction.
