23.10.2025Rescue operation with a bang: Land-Motorsport and Ricardo Feller in the 2025 DTM

It was one of the big news ahead of the 2025 DTM season. Ricardo Feller, a Porsche factory driver, would be lining up for the Audi team from Land-Motorsport. The Swiss driver celebrated his first successes with the Westerwald-based team at just 18 years old. The ADAC GT Masters title followed in 2021. After 2022, their paths initially diverged until Ricardo Feller's planned DTM campaign with Porsche fell through shortly before the start of the 2025 season.

It was almost like a "rescue operation," which Land-Motorsport mastered with this short-notice commitment to get Feller onto the starting grid in Germany's most competitive GT series. Shortly afterward, Feller and his Audi R8 LMS GT3 were on the starting grid for the first DTM race of the year at Oschersleben and immediately made a positive impression. Fifth place in qualifying and eleventh place in the second race were the results of the DTM debut for the team led by Wolfgang and Christian Land.

And as the season progressed, Ricardo Feller would truly turn heads. At the Red Bull Ring, he celebrated his first victory of the year – also the first DTM triumph ever for Land-Motorsport. Just a few weeks earlier, he achieved his first podium finish at the Nürburgring with third place. At the finale in Hockenheim, the Swiss driver achieved another podium finish – second place behind former champion Thomas Preining. With these performances, he proved that he was absolutely competitive with his new team and with the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, regularly challenging for the top spots.

The fact that the Audi R8 LMS GT3 was available for purchase in miniature format that same year is thanks to the exclusive collaboration between ck-modelcars and Land-Motorsport. ck-modelcars was the official partner and sponsor of Land-Motorsport in 2025 and prominently featured on the car at the start of the season, which made ck-modelcars founder Christoph Krombach particularly proud: "I'm delighted to be back in the DTM with ck-modelcars. The partnership includes sponsorship on the car and approval for us to produce Ricardo's DTM car as a model car."
