In May 2023, he continued his success story - but this time on four wheels. 

The venue for this was the Brands Hatch Circuit. The track, located south of London, has been the venue for various racing series since the 1920s, including Formula 1. Important motorsport events still take place here, including the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup, whose 2023 season began in Brands Hatch.

Nine-time motorcycle world champion Valentino Rossi recently sat in the cockpit of the BMW M4 GT3 of the WRT team. For the 2023 season, the Belgian team switched from the Audi R8 LMS Evo II, with which Rossi had previously started his full-time career in automobile racing, to the new BMW.

The fresh constellation immediately proved its worth at the start of the season. At Brands Hatch, Valentino Rossi and teammate Maxime Martin took the first podium place in the GT World Challenge Sprint Cup on British ground. In the run-up to the race, the experienced Belgian factory driver and DTM veteran Maxime Martin and his Italian colleague had secured fifth place on the grid as a promising starting position for the race. Thanks to an optimal strategy and a pit stop during a safety car phase, the two top drivers ultimately saw the checkered flag in second place and secured their podium place ahead of the sister car of Dries Vanthoor and Charles Weerts.

Minichamps offers a model of the eye-catching BMW M4 GT3 in a blue and black design with accents in bright yellow and the Rossi starting number 46. The limited edition of 346 copies was produced in scale 1:18. The model offers opening doors, bonnet and trunk as well as an authentic interior and engine compartment. The "Model Car of the Year 2023" also comes in a unique collector's folding box with pictures of the race at Brands Hatch.
