In general, fans are always happy about good news from Williams. The team plays in a league with Ferrari and McLaren. Without Williams, Formula 1 just wouldn't be the same. All the better that there are now three fantastic models of the car that once helped Williams make his big breakthrough - the FW07B, with which Australian Alan Jones clinched Frank Williams' first world title in 1980.

As early as the mid-1960s, Frank Williams used racing cars with his own team. But it was unsuccessful and lacked the financial means. It needed a fresh start. And that happened in 1977 with the newly formed Williams team, which Frank Williams sent to the start together with Patrick Head - for a year again with a customer car from March and from 1978 with the first own construction. A year later came the first victories and in 1980 finally the long-awaited first world championship success with Alan Jones at the wheel of the typical white and green FW07B with the equally typical Cosworth engine.

In the following decade and a half, Williams always fought for the top of the premier class. The select line-up of drivers included names such as Rosberg, Mansell, Piquet, Prost, Hill, Villeneuve and last but not least Ayrton Senna.

Alan Jones first World Champion Williams was replicated by GP Replicas in three different versions as a resin model. They are the three winning cars with which Jones was able to win the races in Le Castellet, Brands Hatch and Montreal on his way to the world championship crown. The models in scale 1:18 are limited to 500 pieces each and are delivered with the associated showcase.
