Three modelcars to the Ford Focus RS celebrate premiere in our webshop. Its role model was presented at the Geneva Motorshow in March, 2015, and became introduced in Europe one year later. The miniatures of diecast come from the production of Autoart - own spelling AUTOart - and have all-round doors and hoods and steerable front wheels. The Aachen-based label has a high degree of competence in the reproduction of top-class sports cars, of which the models of the Focus RS in scale 1:18 clearly benefit. But is that really still a compact-class car? After all, it provides its driver 257 kW / 350 hp and thus reaches sports car values: The 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine with twin-scroll turbocharger and intercooler offers a maximum torque of 440 Newton meters (Nm).

This can be raised by overboost for 15 seconds to 470 Nm. The engine was implanted in the Focus RS from the Ford Mustang. We have praised the modelcars from Autoart several times because of their meticulous exact replicas of the drive sets and also the view under the openable hood at the Focus does not disappoint in this discipline: Autoart has done everything right. The fact that there is still not many things to see, is due to the full disguise of the model, which has received at this point littledecorative wire with on the way. How perfect Autoart works, showd the perforated - so properly perforated - grille masks. Better not to do at a model! The fact that the bonnet closes well and the gap dimensions even perfectionists are likely to convince, we are used to by Autoart as well as the first-class crafted glass parts.

Headlights, glazing and taillights cuddle in the diecast environment. The interior is predominantly black and sporty; What pleases our eyes are the blue painted brake callipers, whose color emphasis required the payment of around 150.00 Euro surcharge when introducing the Focus RS. From zero to 100, the four-door car accelerates in 4.7 seconds; It reached the top speed of 268 kilometers per hour. The modelcars for this fascinating prototype are available in the colors stealth gray under item number 72954, frost white (72951) and shadow black (72952).
