Porsche driver Thomas Preining made motorsport history with the final race of the 2023 DTM season at the Hockenheimring. Driving the bright yellow "Grello" Porsche 911 GT3 R from the Manthey EMA team, the Austrian secured the title with a commanding race, giving Porsche its first-ever DTM drivers' title and simultaneously making history as the first Austrian DTM series winner. With a 4.2-liter flat-six engine producing approximately 565 hp, sophisticated aerodynamics, and perfect weight distribution, it was adapted to the specific regulations for use in the 2023 DTM.
