Under the hashtag Throwback Thursday, the network community remembers every Thursday on beautiful events of the past. Mostly, however, these are further back than the just finished season 2019 of the ADAC GT Masters, which we have finished at the end of September at the Sachsenring. It was the second year, we have worked together with the team of the two-times winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and two-times endurance world champion Timo Bernhard form Bruchmühlbach-Miesau, and it was a lot of fun. Even if it was not always easy: In the overall payroll, the team finished in the team ranking of the league of super sports cars the strong fifth place and was therefore also the best Porsche team, which should certainly be of particular importance for Porsche factory driver Timo Bernhard.

Let's look at the highlights as well as the low points of the past season: Porsche works driver Timo Bernhard (38) and former Porsche junior Klaus Bachler (28) from Austria came in the drivers' standings in their Porsche 911 GT3 R with the starting number 17 in ninth in the top ten, because the two collected no less than 103 championship points. Porsche Young Professional Matteo Cairoli (23) from Italy and Belgian Adrien De Leener (30) placed in the sister car with the starting number 18 in 26th place with 20 points. The low point of the past year in the ADAC GT Masters from KÜS Team75 Bernhard's point of view was the guest appearance in Most, where the team did not score points in both races and also had to cancel two accidents without fault. There was a lot of bad luck in the game, which hopefully remains saved concerning modelcars of the team in 1:43 and 1:18.

The three podium placements are undoubtedly the highlights of their role models: Timo and Klaus rode to third place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, and then won second place at Zandvoort in the Netherlands. The crowning victory was the Sunday race at the Nürburgring. A complete podium, numerous points placements, but also a lot of bad luck - the season 2019 in the ADAC GT Masters had plenty of ups and downs for the KÜS Team75 Bernhard, which we together lived through, because even if our CK sales trailer was not present at all racetracks, thanks to the commitment of the TV channel Sport 1, we were able to experience the role models of our miniatures live on screen. And that's how it should be: The KÜS Team75 Bernhard will also race in the ADAC GT Masters in the 2020 season.

Team Manager Klaus Graf: "Overall, we are satisfied with the course of the season, even though we had hoped for a little more in the overall statement. But ultimately we were able to establish ourselves with the victory and a few podium finishes in the front rankings. I think we are now a fixture in the ADAC GT Masters and are among the top teams in the league of supercars. That makes me personally very proud and I am also happy for the entire team. We want to build on that in 2020. The drivers have consistently done a very good job. We did not have any serious accidents except for a bigger damage, which is not always a matter of course for a series with sprint races. It also demonstrates the quality of how we communicate as a team, how we work and how our drivers behave and present themselves on the track."

Graf thanks the sponsors, partners, supporters and fans, the drivers and the entire team for their support and work in 2019: "We are now going to work hard during the winter break to prepare for 2020. We are looking forward to the new season and we want to start there again with stronger strength!" What remains at the end of this article is also to thank for the exciting entertainment we were able to enjoy thanks to the team KÜS Team75 Bernhard. Diecast models from the production of the brands CMR and Minichamps in the scales 1:43 and 1:18, however, initially only remember the cars of the team Timo Bernhard in the ADAC GT Masters of 2017 and 2018, but modelcars of at the 24-Hour races from Spa and Nürburgring are available.
