The calendar for the anniversary season included six events at renowned racetracks in Germany, Austria and Belgium. The season opener and finale traditionally took place at the Hockenheimring. The Porsche Sprint Challenge Classic took part for the first time. In this new series, air-cooled Carrera Cup youngtimers of the 911 generations 964 and 993 fought exciting duels.
